Shampoos and conditioners are very personal products. Those that seem perfect for a specific head of hair may seem too weak or strong for another. Just as with your skin, internal and external factors such as diet, stress, frequency of washing, blow-drying, hair texture and the weather can affect a hair care product’s effectiveness. We carefully formulate our shampoos with gentle coconut oil cleansers and adjust the pH specifically for the needs of different hair types to achieve a high level of effectiveness. Our conditioner works in tandem with our Shampoo. They are designed to strengthen the hair shaft with proteins, assist in repairing damaged hair and promote lustrous highlights.
Our Moisture Cream is unscented because many customers prefer to use fragrance-free products, especially on or near their face. Dry skin is missing water so we treat it with an emulsion of purified water and oil blends to hydrate thirsty skin and retain this added moisture.
Vitamins A, D and E are included in most of our formulations because they are the major vitamins the skin can use externally. Tests have shown that only small amounts of vitamins can be absorbed by the skin at any given time. Therefore, it is most beneficial to apply small amounts more frequently rather than larger concentrations occasionally. Most research has been focused on Vitamin E, which is nature's anti-oxidant working to prevent the build-up of toxic substances. Aging is an oxidative process and since Vitamin E prevents oxidation it may slow the skin's aging process. Vitamins A and D are nourishing and essential to human health.
A valid or meaningful pH cannot be taken on a substance with a low water content, so we do not give pH for Lotions or Moisturizers.
